This is the moment we've been saving for

“I've spent everything I had to protect my family.”

The harsh impact of COVID-19 is hitting working families hard. In addition to catastrophic loss of income, expenses are rising as families rush to stock-up on essentials and prepare for the worst.

The fear is real. COVID-19 is the type of emergency SaverLife helps families prepare for, but we never imagined a crisis of this magnitude.

But we are ready. SaverLife’s investments in technology mean we can respond swiftly and directly. And the trust we have built with thousands of families ensures our response will meet their real needs, in real time. Here’s what we will do:

  • Leverage our tech infrastructure to turn our savings platform into a cash distribution platform. SaverLife already sends cash to our Savers - usually in the form of prizes and savings match. We can deploy this same technology to send money straight to the accounts of those who need it. We are working with incredible partners and funders to roll this out in the next few weeks.

  • Engage our members directly through live polls to understand their needs, identify trends in real-time, and ensure all stakeholders understand the real impact of the crisis on working families.

  • Connect our members to supportive resources from government agencies, nonprofit partners, and each other through a resource page and our SaverLife Community Forum.

  • Keep our funders and network of partners - including employers, credit unions, and nonprofits - up to date on our efforts and how they can help those most in need.

Your support has made us ready for this moment.  With your partnership, we built a strong foundation that now allows us to swiftly pivot to provide the emergency response people need. And when this is over, we will be here to help families rebuild.

If you would like to learn more about our plans to support working families keep food on the table during this crisis please email me. We value your partnership and know that we are stronger together.
