SaverLife.org is proud to announce it has been selected to participate in Stand Together Foundation’s Catalyst Program.

As many Americans head into the holidays unemployed and behind in rent and utility bills, a new report from the FINRA Investor Education Foundation and SaverLife found that people who maintained more than $100 in savings were much less likely to have their utilities shut off or resort to high-cost borrowing methods.

Twenty-eight organizations from 18 states and the District of Columbia will elevate diverse voices and broaden the national conversation about poverty and economic mobility at a critical moment in our nation’s history as recipients of $100,000 grants in the Voices for Economic Opportunity Grand Challenge, sponsored by a group of eight philanthropic organizations.

MetLife Foundation today announced that it will provide a $425,000 grant to SaverLife, a national nonprofit fintech company that helps low-income working families achieve prosperity through savings. SaverLife will use the grant to give cash support to around 800 SaverLife clients facing economic instability as a result of COVID-19.

SaverLife and Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners today announced they have teamed up with the Wells Fargo Foundation to help disperse $1M in financial aid to vulnerable entrepreneurs and their employees who have been financially affected by the impact of COVID-19.
