Credit Card Balances Stay Elevated

As of the beginning of March 2021, credit card balances of members earning less than $50,000 a year are 82% higher than they were at this time last year.

As we saw last year, direct infusions of cash help members pay off debt, so the forthcoming stimulus checks from the American Rescue Plan could make a dent in helping members lower their debt.
